Madi turned 9!

For Madi's birthday we were in Mesa so we took her to the movies, than out to dinner (her favorite is stake), and then to Nielson Custard because she loves icecream and hates cake. On Friday she gets to have a sleepover with a couple of friends.

Dinner at Texas Roadhouse. The balloon guy came around and made balloons. Shacee got a flower.

Madi got a hat with the #9 on the top.

Sadie got a blue dog.

Layni got a pink poodle.

So the waiter came around and made Madi sit on a saddle. He yelled out to everyone that Madi is having a birthday and did some loud chanting thing while he told her to swing her napkin and if she stopped swinging it they would start all over again. Sooooooo it was hilarious. She hated every minute of it and said when it was over that she never wanted to eat there again for her birthday. :)

Tempe Town Lake

After hanging out with Sally and Dusty we headed over to Cody and Kacies. Chad and Cody played a game of golf and that afternoon we went to Tempe Town Lake for bike riding and rollerblading.

Skateland with Sally and Dusty's family

A couple of days after we got home from the snow we headed down to Sally and Dusty's to hang out with them. We took all the kids to Skateland.

The day after Christmas in Grear Arizona

Every year for our Christmas present from Chad's parents they rent a cabin and take the whole family on a snow/ski trip. This year we went to Grear Arizona. We always have such a good time and especially the kids absolutely LOVE it. It is a great Christmas presant for the kids to make memories with there Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins instead getting more and more toys that they already have enough of. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Backus!
